What a daily reading actually looks at

In the East Asian calendar every day carries its own name, drawn from a cycle of sixty that turns without end. Asking what today's fortune is begins with asking which name today wears.

That name is not good or bad on its own. A day coloured by water is welcome to someone who lacks water and demanding for someone already flooded with it. The same day reads differently for different people, and that is the whole point.

Why the same day differs from person to person
